Sacco Operation Structure

There are many types of SACCOs out there in the world. Some of these are Produce-based (such as on Crops, Dairy, etc), Salary-based, Business-based, Marketing SACCOs, Service-based (such as those offering storage facilities only to fishermen).

BR Sacco has been designed to support all forms of SACCOs from the simple employer-based to the more complex agricultural types. In the agricultural types, BR Sacco can track various products, yield, deliveries and grading. It even allows for pooling of various deliveries of same produce from different farmers who then enjoy economies of scale.

Managing of payments on delivery or after sales has been made easy. Payments on delivery can be based on average price or declared price while payments after sales of the proceeds can be based on actual sales price. We have even made it possible for the SACCO to manage proceeds from such by being able to convert such to Shares, or loan repayment or Cash payout.

BRSacco supports various models of SACCO organization structure whether Centralized  or Devolved. An example is shown below.
